Supporting All Involved in The
Provision of Sheltered and Supported Housing
WHAT ROLE THE WARDEN
General Information
This one-day course is designed to look
at the changing role of staff working in the sheltered housing sector. It
considers the many changes that 'Warden' staff have experienced in recent
years. Traditionally the warden was seen as a 'Good Neighbour'. This role
has changed considerably and sheltered housing staff increasingly find
themselves needing to adopt a more professional approach. The course
addresses this concept and looks at practical ways that staff can promote a
professional attitude. A range of
training methods will be used in delivering the course content. This will
assist in ensuring effective input of course material. Participants will be
encouraged to take an active part in each session.
