The SHN road show is a one day interactive event aimed at enabling participants to gain the most out of attending the day.  The Sheltered Housing Network is running the road show at seven regional venues across the country in 2011.

COST:

To keep costs as low as possible, SHN are running this as a ‘not-for-profit’ event.  Charges made are to cover venue hire, refreshments, lunch and administration costs.

The cost of attendance is only £35 per delegate (£25 for SHN members).

WHAT WILL BE COVERED ON THE DAY?

The day will consist of four sessions as follows:

• The Aims and Purpose of Sheltered Housing & Extra Care – Past, Present and Future

• Achieving a ‘Fit for Purpose’ service – meeting local need and the requirements of funders

• Professional Staff = Professional Service - Evidencing Competency

• Where are we going and what do we need to do – An action plan for the future

As well as the above sessions, there will be a number of ‘networking’ opportunities where you can interact and share views, ideas, etc. with participants from other organisations.  There will also be a range of material on display that is available from SHN.
