| This event is designed to be equally beneficial
for Board Members, Councillors, Staff and Users and/or their
Representatives. It is an invaluable tool for any organisation that is
looking toward, or in the process of, conducting a review of their service.
The event is linked to a ‘Mystery Shoppers’ exercise that SHN will conduct
prior to the training day (the cost of this will be quoted separately as
this will vary according to size of the organisation). The morning will be
more of an 'informing' process, enabling participants to gain an overview of
what is happening Nationally and give an insight of the views of users. The
afternoon will focus on 'putting ideas into practice' or 'The Challenge'
part of the day. This will give participants the chance to examine their
current perceptions and consider how the group should move forward with
their task of reviewing the service that they provide to ensure that it
matches user demand and local need.
