PROMOTING QUALITY STANDARDS IN SHELTERED HOUSING
Participants will
consider their own values regarding quality and how to set a standard to
which quality can be measured. Participants will evaluate methods to
identify standards are being met including accreditation from independent
bodies. Participants will reflect on the findings of the last session and
consider who is responsible for setting standards. Participants will also
define what they – as individuals and as a team – need to do to ensure
standards are met or exceeded. Participants will consider the wider
concept of delivering a service and look at both the ‘internal’ and
‘external’ customer. Participants will be encouraged to adopt a
‘Best Value’ approach to their future work and actively challenge the
culture they work in with an aim to promoting best practice.
