Positive Presentation Techniques (2 Day)

General Information
This two-day course looks at effective methods to help participants to deliver a successful presentation. It is ideal for people who are involved in addressing groups, public speaking and giving presentations at meetings or in the work place. their working pattern in respect of their time management.

A range of training methods will be used in delivering the course content. This will assist in ensuring effective input of course material. Participants will be encouraged to take an active part in each session.

Aims & Objectives Of The Course
The aim of the course is to develop the skills of participants in delivering information to an audience in a constructive and precise manner. Participants will also learn how to use techniques to make presentations more informative and interesting.

Participants will develop their skills, attitudes and knowledge in the areas of:

Evaluating their own individual presentation skills
Appropriate use of visual aids
Setting up and running a presentation
Goal setting and privatising

Objectives
By the end of the course participants should be able to:

Describe their own specific style - or pattern when delivering a presentation
Have awareness of individual needs and requirements of the audience
Identify potential problems and ways of targeting your audience
Adopt a structured approach to goal setting and prioritising their workload
Demonstrate their presentation skills by giving a short presentation
Create an action plan to develop their own presentation style & skills further

Summary
The course is designed to be flexible and the content and setting can be varied to meet the particular requirements of individual groups.

Participants will be encouraged to adopt a supportive and positive approach to the group as a whole. It is hoped that this will allow individuals to achieve greater proficiency and confidence through taking part in a stimulating and enjoyable learning programme.
