Information
This training is
designed to provide support staff with sufficient understanding about
the different types of abuse, who the perpetrators of abuse might be,
why they might abuse and the indicators to look out for. It will look at
the legal framework that providers need to address, recruitment issues,
professional boundaries and associated policies such as whistle blowing,
so that staff are equipped to deliver their services with the protection
of their clients from abuse in mind.

All staff who
are involved in the delivery of support services, both front line staff
& managers
