Change Management

[Up]

General Information

Sheltered housing is a service that needs to go through a process of on-going change in order to meet the diverse and ever changing needs of its service users.  However most people (staff and service users alike) see change as a profound challenge that they are not emotionally equipped to handle.  While organisations implement strategic change through such programmes as Total Quality Management, downsizing and retraining, the psychological effects of change upon people must be kept in constant focus.  This programme is a critically needed tool for teaching everyone in the organisation how to understand change, embrace it and make it work to maximum advantage.  The morale-building, confidence-building strategies covered during this event will dramatically raise productivity and speed the organisation's progress in meeting its highest objectives.  This emotionally involving event shows how to understand change as opportunity...at home, in the office and in the dispersed workforce setting.

A range of training methods will be used in delivering the course content. This will assist in ensuring effective input of course material. Participants will be encouraged to take an active part in each session.
