General
Information:
This one
day training event is designed to provide support staff with no
specialist knowledge of drugs and alcohol with sufficient knowledge and
skills to work with service users who are affected by drug and/or
alcohol use so that they might better respond to their needs and manage
associated risks.
A range
of training methods will be used in delivering the course content. This
will assist in ensuring effective input of course material. Participants
will be encouraged to take an active part in each session.

managers who work with service users who have support needs around drug
